ChessCorner is a modern chess venue in Warsaw, open for everyone. We position ourselves as a learning space for adults and children aged 3+.
You can find us in the royal district of Wilanów, Warsaw.
WHAT WE OFFER
With us, you can learn how to play chess. You can always choose what works for you: study in groups with other students or individually if you prefer a slower tempo and a personalized approach.
Along with chess classes, we help to organize chess events, entertainment events, birthday parties, and so much more.
Do you run a company and are looking for a fun pastime for your employees? For our corporate partners, we offer a helping hand in organization of various chess events, tournaments, and chess classes.
- GROUP CLASSES at ChessCorner
Group classes are a perfect way to learn to play chess in a great atmosphere and meet other like-minded people! And there is an added bonus: students motivate each other to develop quickly.
The ChessCorner now counts more than 10 groups of different levels and ages. We speak several languages, so it won’t matter if you speak Polish, Belarusian, Russian, or English. If you are interested in group classes for yourself or your child, contact us, and we will find the group that suits you.
- INDIVIDUAL LESSONS at ChessCorner
A 1:1 class is the best way to learn at your own tempo and progress quickly. All lessons will be personalized and prepared specifically for the particular student.
Added bonus: great flexibility and a close relationship with your coach.
- ON-LINE LESSONS
A great option if you don’t live in Wilanów or even Warsaw – we can contact you from anywhere in the world.
- EVENT MANAGEMENT
We work with mini-tournaments, gatherings, corporate and chess parties with a DJ. If you have an idea in mind, we are ready to jump in.
FOUNDERS
Anastasia Sorokina is the co-founder of ChessCorner
Anastasia is one of the most prominent figures in the chess world.
- An international champion
- Head of the FIDE Women’s Chess Commission — a commission that represents all female chess players in the world.
- Anastasia is a top judge of FIDE, she judged all the major chess tournaments of the world, including the Olympic Games and the Women’s World Championship.
- Extremely rich 20-year coaching experience
- Owned chess schools in Australia and Belarus before moving to Warsaw and opening ChessCorner.
Denis Burko is the co-founder and head coach of ChessCorner.
Denis is an excellent chess coach with a pedagogical education.
- In 2013 he received a higher pedagogical education, which makes him an ideal specialist for working with children
- Many years of experience working with students of different ages, starting from 3 years old
PRICE LIST
- Individual lessons of 45 min.: PLN 240
- Split (2 people) 45 min.: PLN 180 per person
- Game with a friend (chess equipment rental) 1 hour: PLN 50
- White&Black Club VIP card (4 months): PLN 2,400
- With your club card, you can participate in all seminars, workshops, tournaments and weekend events for free.
- 2 individual sessions (online or offline, 45 minutes) are also available to club card holders. Class times must be confirmed in advance by ChessCorner.
- The Club Card holder is entitled to book ChessCorner Club twice during the card’s validity for 2 hours for a private mini-tournament or other chess event confirmed by Chess Corner. Additional time is paid according to the price list.
- The owner of the club card can participate in group classes once a week in a permanent group according to the schedule, or his family members can take advantage of this opportunity.
- Club cards cannot be used by other people. The club card can only be used by the owner who purchased it, or if it was purchased as a gift. You will then need to inform ChessCorner of the person’s name on the date of purchase.
- Chess Events and Parties
Tired of birthday parties in restaurants and bars, but still want to have a time of your life? Here we are to your rescue: a party at ChessCorner! Birthdays, corporate parties, ladies’ nights and other events can be organized by the ChessCorner team! We also offer workshops, mini-tournaments, fun board games, with a dedicated barista or a DJ for you.

- Minimum 2 hours: PLN 500
- Each additional hour: PLN 200
- 8 hours: PLN 1200
The price is for the rental of the Chess Corner room only, which includes free use of all ChessCorner club equipment. All additional requests handled by the Chess Corner team are optional, depending on the program. We are ready to talk price with you. Do not forget to book a slot in advance, places are limited.
